This week, our Creative and Digital students were inspired when they welcomed ex-student and Software Engineer, Zameer Ejaz from Deloitte.
Zameer studied Level 3 IT (Networking Systems and Support) at Nelson and Colne College and went on to study Computer Science at Leicester.
An engaging presentation covered topics ranging from what inspired him to choose his courses and career path to imposter syndrome and top tips about managing workload at university. Huge thanks to Zameer who also took the time to visit the classrooms of our 2nd Year T Level (Digital, Production, Design and Development) students to look at their work and provide valuable feedback.
What our students said:
“It was great to hear about University life in general and what to consider for a sandwich year.” Tadas Ivanauskas
“Thanks to learning about Zameer’s experiences, I now understand the importance of managing and organising your workload as well as time management.” Rahim Khalq
