Health and Wellbeing

Our Health and Wellbeing Team are dedicated professionals who are here to help you with all manner of advice, guidance and support. We have a wide range of specialist and dedicated drop-in services and facilities that you can access during your time at College.

Our Health and Wellbeing Officers work to promote positive health and wellbeing across College. Working to a calendar of awareness events and campaigns, students can access information and resources on a wide range of topics, including:

  • Mental health
  • Contraception and sexual health
  • All Faiths and none provision
  • Sustainability
  • E-Safety
  • LGBTQ+

You can visit the Health and Wellbeing Officer if you need information on the College counselling service, NHS Minds matter service, mentor programmes and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Students also have access to a huge directory of information, activities and resources on Moodle, the College’s online student portal.

We also have a College Nurse who offers drop-in services where students can receive confidential advice on a number of different health and wellbeing issues including:

  • General health concerns
  • Sexual health
  • Smoking cessation
  • Eating disorders
  • Bereavement
  • Anxiety, depression and stress
  • Emotional health
  • Plus much more!
