We here at Nelson and Colne College Group want to extend our utmost condolences to His Majesty the King and to the rest of the Royal family. We are collectively sharing in their grief at this time of great sadness.
HM Queen Elizabeth II embodied the spirit of dedication, commitment and hard work that we hold so very dear at this institution. Generations upon generations of students of all ages, not only here with us but across the country and indeed the world, have been inspired by her fortitude, her resolve and her sacrifice.
Our College group will remember her fondly for her lifetime of devotion to service on behalf of our country and the Commonwealth. The dignified way in which she discharged this duty was a unifying, inspiration to so many and she will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace, HM Queen Elizabeth II and God save the King.
